Hi my period started on nth of October, but i noticed it wasn't flowing as usual, and this lasted for more than a week. I decided to see a pharmacist, he gave me positnor2 and asked me to take 2 tablets everyday for just 2days. I also bought a pregnancy test strip also and when i took the test it was positive but by then i has already taken the postinor2. The next day after taking the postinor2 i saw my period and i flowed heavily,i am still bleeding now but a little and this is the 6th day after taking the postinor2. I decided to use the pregnancy test strip again and it reads positive. Now i am confused, my question is could it be possible i am still pregnant after flowing so heavily or was it too early to use the pregnancy test strip. I am really confused and will be happy if i get an answer from you thanks and waiting on your reply.

The pharmacist shouldn't be giving you such medications without a doctor's orders.

I see that positnor2 is being used as a morning after pill. Usually, those have to be taken within a couple of days of conception. If you waited until you should have had a period, it might not do anything. Not only that, but it is common for these drugs to cause heavy bleeding and nothing else. And sometimes a woman can actually bleed to death after taking such pills.

There is also a good chance that you are still pregnant. Also, however, it takes awhile for pregnancy hormones to subside. But given how soon you took the pills, I wouldn't put much stock in that.

If you are still pregnant, please don't risk your health by taking any more pills or by getting any other kind of abortion. The pills are very dangerous. Usually, two kinds are given. The first is a steroid, and they cared enough to ban steroids for men, but not for women. We're not worth as much. The second is given against the instructions of the manufacturer. This is because there are several ways they can kill a woman, sometimes within hours. Any kind of abortion could cause serious damage to your health.
