Hello Dr. Cheryl,
I am deeply concerned about my pregnancy. I have been taking Misoprostol (Mistol & Cytotec) for the past week. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and have been spotting brown blood with some thick red discharged blood. I am concerned that I am experiencing a missed abortion and my fetus is still alive. I have had the option to go to my doctor, but I would like feedback from a doctor first. I ordered both Mistol and Cytotec from the internet and have been inserting them vaginally. I have had a abortion from medication in the past and I experienced heavy cramping and blood clots passing through my vagina. I really do not want to have a baby with deformities or other issues. I am also really secretive about this because I am married and not ready for a baby... and my husband wants one because he's older. Please help me out..

Dear Monica,

You must seek medical help as soon as possible. You need to go to an emergency room or a doctor. Can you get a referral from a pregnancy resource center? Sometimes they know a doctor that can help in a situation like this. If your baby is ok would you be willing to have him or her? Go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
