hello..
im just so confused and i dont know whom to ask this question since iv told only a few bout my pregnancy..
iv took misoprostol 3vaginal and 1oral as advised by a friend who have tried. took it at 7pm. at 10pm i begun to bleed. the bleeding was so heavy that ive soaked a lot of pads until 5am. on 5am, i passed out a bulgy thing which i assumed was the fetus. i feel it but havent seen it since the bowl was full of blood. after that, my severe cramps had gone gradually. there were still blood on my pads but on 2pm of that day, the bleeding was gone. i havnt seen even spots. it was completely gone. until to the days that had cum.
anweiz,im on my 10th week of pregnancy wen i took the abortion drug..
my concern is that , since i havent bleed for weeks like the others after the medical abortion, would the abortion i had done was successful or not?
how many weeks since the date of abortion will the urine test result be reliable?
and would that bleeding from taking misoprostol , a part of the menstruation or just merely a reaction for the expulsion of fetus?

Hi,

You shouldn't have been given abortion pills at 10 weeks gestation.

You may still get a positive pregnancy test for 4-6 weeks after the abortion.

I can't tell if the abortion was successful or not, you will need an ultrasound to confirm it. But since you did bleed and passed what you thought was the embryo, then the abortion was most likely successful.
