hi.i highly appreciate the good work you're doing on the net.
my question is that i got pregnant even after taking precautions.i did a pregnancy strip test and it came positive.i was 6-7 weeks pregnant and i had an abortion using pills.first i used Mifepristone.nothing happened.then after 6-7 hours,i took misoprostol.right after taking this med,i started getting cramps which were slightly unbearable.after some time i started bleeding and it went for around 15-20 days.the bleeding was heavier than normal.after the bleeding was over after 15-20 days,i did a pregnancy strip test,it was negetive.my first period occured after 1 month of my abortion,ie. on 7th October 2009.it was very light and went for hardly 4-5 days.the blood color was dark maroonish to dark brown.it wasn't red.
now,this month,it's already 9th november 2009.i am worried.could i still be pregnant? my periods never got delayed and i always had a healthy and normal cycle.why is there a delay this time?

Hi Arsh,

It's possible that you are pregnant, but in my opinion, unlikely. Most chance is that your cycle was affected from the hormones in the pills you took. These are most likely strong medications to cause an abortion.
