Abortion/12 weeks after pill abortion and still no period

Question
I had the pill abortion done on Nov 17th, I had heavy bleeding from it and passed tissue on the 22nd. After a week and a half of bleeding it stopped, which was expected. But its been 12 weeks now since I took the pill, and I havent gotten my period yet. Im fairly sure that im not still pregnant, because I havent gained any weight. But I am freaked out because I havent gotten it yet, and I get muscle twitches in my stomach. I dont know whether this is normal or not.

Thanks for your question. I'm not a doctor so I suggest that you consult with your own physician. Sometimes having an abortion, especially a pill abortion, will affect your normal cycle. The pill abortion could cause a massive dose of hormones in your system to alter your period. But if you are not pregnant, and have not had a period for 12 weeks, I would advise you to get a checkup.
