Good day. I had an medical abortion on 8 weeks the 8th of January 2009. Up until today I have been menstruating - with menstrual pain, somedays worse than others. I'm also all of the suddon struggling to loose weight. I joined a weightloss clinic and they keep on telling me, that i must be cheating or doing something wrong, cause I'm not loosing anything. (I'm not) I also exercise at least 5 hours per week. Could there be something wrong? I mean, the fact that I'm struggling to loose weight and menstruating for so long after the abortion? I dont currently have a lot of money to go wildly with tests? What can I do?

Hi dear Monique,

the problem with medical abortion is that the docs don't tell you that it is a nasty procedure, looking easy, but in fact often awkward.
Both the importer (from China)and the dealers get rich from this product,and block negative comments. They don't block me as I live outside the USA.
Longtime bloodloss is one of the nasty complications. Rests of the product of conception may stay inside the womb, causing cramps.
The worst thing is that though you bleed you could be still pregnant.
A suction-curettage would always be my first choice and I fear you need
one now.
Please discuss this with an OBGYN doc and do a pregtest !
