me n my gf had unprotected sex, she got pregnant, an ultrasound confirmed a uterine implantation,abortion is illegal here...we managed to get cytotec pills only.
she started cytotec in her 7wk 800mcg bucally in the first day,she noticed small streaks of dark blood only,repeated the same dose for 2nd and 3rd day...nothing happened no bleeding, only cramps(she felt the contractions) and some whitish-yellowish mucous discharge... we tried again after 3days, but with 800mcg bucally then another 800mcg after 3hrs....no blood only,slight fever,cramps... (she took prophylactic doxacycline, and that discharge isn't foul)....
what's wrong? shall we wait? did it fail? if yes wut to do next? HELP US PLZ!!!

There are two possibilities - the cytotec didn't work at all and the pregnancy is continuing, or the cytotec worked, the pregnancy stopped growing, but it hasn't passed yet.  The best thing you could do is to get another ultrasound.  You can just go back to where you went for the first ultrasound or to the emergency room, and let them know that she pregnant and she is having some bleeding - you can say she is having more bleeding than she actually had.  They will then tell you if it looks like she is having a "miscarriage."  You do not have to tell them she took the pills.  Write me back, and let me know what happened.
