Question
QUESTION: I am 25years old,got married. First abortion is in oct 07, now i missed my periods(I mean it's been a week). My first thought went i could be a pregnant but  i have taken the home test the result is showing negative. If i am pregant can i go for second time abortion? Is it safe, if i want the kids in future at that time what are the complications i have to face, do you suggest me to proceed or go for second abortion? Please advise me

Thankyou very much

ANSWER: Dear Jyo,
It seems like you are not pregnant!  A test should turn positive about 10 days after the incident.  Try another test in a week if you still don't get your period.  Delayed periods are common and normal.

In the event that you are pregnant, it is completely safe to have a second abortion.  You should have no problems with fertility from abortion, even if you have several procedures.  The safest method of early abortion is the abortion pill or the Aspiration Procedure.  The World Health Organization recommends these as the best methods if you are under 9 weeks of pregnancy.  If you live in the United States, doctors offices that utilize these methods are listed on earlyabortion.com.

QUESTION: I have a doubt about the periods, this is second time i didn't get in time. For me periods are regular, after marriage this is the first time, it didn't get on time. I kept the morning pill(planB) after 72hrs. Will this affect?

Once again Thankyou very much

Answer
Dear Jyo,
I'm not sure if I understand your question.  You should use Plan B only if you have had unprotected sex in the past 5 days (the earlier you take it, the more effective it is.)  It is not used to bring on a late period, and this would only confuse your body even more, hormonally speaking.
