Question
I need help!! I am 16 and just found out I am pregnant, I think about 11 weeks. I have called everywhere and they all want $400 and up. I do not have the money and neither does my boyfriend, but we do NOT want this preganancy. MY parents will be no help, they would probably kill me and my BF.PLEASE does anyone have info on low cost /free places in Illinois?????? PLEASE ANSWER ASAP

I don't know of any place I can recommend for a free or low cost abortion. That is the way the abortion industry makes their money by charging for abortions. I can recommend a pregnancy resource center if you are interested in that. Go to http://www.optionline.org or call 1-800-395-HELP. I also would recommend joining the unplanned pregnancy group for advice. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/unplanned_pregnancy_help/
If you are worried about your parents, the pregnancy center can talk to them for you if you like. If you do try to keep it a secret, it probably won't work. Abortion can cause physical problems, emotional,psychological, etc. It's not something that you can hide forever as the truth usually comes out. Besides, abortion is a serious medical procedure and your parents might know something about your medical history that would be important to know.
