hi, i had an abortion 2 months ago and i am experiancing bleedig but it is minimal it is almost like a discharge. it was brown at first but now it is a light red colour.

Please kindly advise....

Regards,
Kirby

Answer
Dear Kirby,
Brown or red spotting or discharge is normal, intermittently, for months after an abortion.  Your hormones are getting back into a cycle, and it can take 1-3 months.  If however, you have been having bleeding daily, like a period, for 3 or 4 weeks in a row, you should be evaluated.
I hope this is helpful,
