hi doc,
i'm scheduled to have a d and c procedure tomorow as a scan showed blood clots but no gestational sac. i had a medical abortion using mifeprestone and misoprostol before 3 weeks.
i heard that the doctor usually sends the tissue from dnc for lab testing. so in my case will they know i took meds to abort the pregnancy?

Hi dear Laisa,
They cannot see that you took the drugs. But they might think so. Just deny is best.. The tissue, if there is any left, would show that you have been pregnant, but nobody can proof this was not a spontaneous abortion. So no worry.
