Hi dis is my first time speakin 2 u so let me start okay I got a abortion march 28 okay it stated on da paper u get ur period 4 to 8 weeks I think ? anyway its May 13 no cycle ! I had a little brown / red last week but dat wuz for one day to me it wuz like discharge I put a pad on for just dat one day and when I look @ da pad it wuz nothin but dark brown but when I wipe it wuz red alittle what's goin on I miss my period ! :-(

Hi Christina,

It still could be another week or longer before you get a regular cycle. When you have an abortion, there is no guarantee that everything will become normal again for a time. So don't get too stressed out yet and just relax. If you don't get a period by the end of May, then I suggest that you go to a doctor (not the abortion provider). Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
