dear,
i am so devasted that i have been looking every where for a solution to this temptation.i was diagonised with a bilateral cornual block and male issue too so we decided to go for icsi treatment.we were happy when we got a positive result but at 8 weeks my doctor told me am likely to be having blighted ovum and should prepare myself for a DandC.she also said they need to check for genetic screening and intrauterine infection to rule out the cause of the problem.please my question is this.....
1. how long should all this protocol take for the next treatment.
2. when should i be expecting my menses after the d and c?
3. i had to loose one year in my academics because am not staying with my hasubad,and the next session i should join is october,should i leave this treatment to go back and finish my education by nov 2010 or should go ahead with the treatmnet?
am confused as well as my husbabnd

First of all, I would have a second opinion about the blighted ovum. Do not have the D & C unless you know for sure that there is a problem. Sometimes doctors tell women something is wrong and there is really nothing wrong. So please get a 2nd opinion if possible before you do something drastic like the D & C.

Are you saying that ICSI treatment is fertility treatment? I am not familiar with the ICSI wording.

I can't tell you what to do about your studies and staying with your husband.That has to be your decision. Please email me with more details about the situation.
