Answer
Hello.

You are taking horrible chances with your life. Those medications are very dangerous and can kill you. Misoprost is not supposed to be taken by a pregnant woman. It is an ulcer medication, and the manufacturer says a pregnant woman should not be taking it. Given that you are in India, I wonder if you bought a kit over the counter. Cipla makes such a kit, and they give deadly instructions. I wrote to them about it, but they ignored me. They don't care. These pills can kill a woman within hours, several different ways.

They most certainly should not be used repeatedly.

Why do you now think there is now no possibility of conceiving? And why are you trying to avoid having a baby, since you are married? Tell your husband he has no right to ask you to take these kinds of risks. It is his responsibility to protect and cherish you. Given what you have already done, you are also already at risk of getting breast cancer while you are still fairly young, in your 30's or 40's. This kind of breast cancer is especially deadly. If you have a history of breast cancer in your family, you are almost certain to get it. You need to make sure you are getting adequate Vitamin D. Being out in the sun won't help you make enough. You can find out more about this by going here:

http://blogs.mercola.com/sites/vitalvotes/archive/2009/02/11/how-vitamin-d-inhib...

Then use the search engine on the site with the keywords "vitamin D breast cancer" for a list of articles.

At this point, it would probably be best to go to the doctor and let him figure out what your body is doing. Nobody is going to be able to tell you over the internet, not even a doctor. But please stop taking these powerful and deadly medications. Tell your husband to stop taking advantage of you and start protecting you. You deserve better. Feel free to write back any time.

Expertise

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
