Answer
Hello, Pres,

I'm sorry I didn't get to you sooner, because this sounds potentially serious. So I will keep things short, because you need to take action.

I assume from what you said, you had a surgical abortion. If not, let me know.

You allowed this person to damage your body. Most people don't realize it, but an abortion cannot be done without damaging a woman's body. So now, you have to heal. A lot depends on how much damage he did. The main thing to be concerned about is the bleeding. Bleeding after abortion is expected. But if you are bleeding enough to pose a threat to your life, you need to take action. Go see a different doctor. If you are bleeding profusely, you need to go to the emergency room. The abortionist may have perforated your uterus or severely damaged it in another way. This poses a threat. At the very least, he had to cut away the placenta, and that leaves a raw wound that will produce scar tissue. This could pose a threat in a future pregnancy. But nobody knows how to prevent this from happening except not to do the damage in the first place. The diarrhea concerns me because it suggests the abortionist may also have damaged your bowel. Is there blood in it? If so, you are in danger of a deadly infection. Again, in that case, get to the emergency room of the hospital.

Your original body moods were produced in part by the hormones of pregnancy. You can't recapture those except by being pregnant again. Work on the pain and the diarrhea first, and worry about your hormones once that is taken care of.

Please see someone right away. Please let me know how you do, and take care of yourself.

My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
