Abortion/bleeding after abortion

Question
i have gone through an surgical abortion (according to the doctor, she use something to suck the fetus out - i was 4 weeks pregnant) about three weeks ago.  i experienced bleeding after the procedure and when it continue to the 2nd week, the bleeding is sometime red colour and sometime brownish/dark red colour.  at the same time also there are some discharge and bad smell (not sure whether the smell is from the discharge or the blood).  have gone back to the clinic who did the abortion for follow checkup on the 7th day the doctor said everything is clear.  i went to another doctor at the end of the second week as i was quite worry about the bleeding as well as the smell..the doctor has do an ultrasound and also inserting a tube into my vigina for further checking.  she said that the bleeding is from the uterus and have given me norcolut to take and said to go back to see her in 3 weeks time.  i did not tell the second doctor that i have gone through an abortion.  now this is the third week and i'm still bleeding, i went to see another gynea and that doctor said he has detected a cyst or blood clot in the uterus and suggested me to go through another suction procedure to take out the cyst.  However i go to another gynea and she said there is nothing so serious as based on the ultrasound there could be a functional cyst or blood clot but as my bleeding has stopped..she said there is no need for such suction.  all the doctors i did not tell them i have an abortion.  please advise what should i do?

Answer
I am concerned also. But I have been getting reports lately of excessive bleeding in women after abortion. You should have told the other doctors what your whole situation was for more information. I would recommend going back to the doctor who gave you the norcolut. I have not heard of this medication, though. Or perhaps you could talk to the one who gave you the abortion to tell that you are still bleeding. Please do something as excessive bleeding could lead to anemia and other problems worse. If one doctor said a blood clot or cyst, it could be parts of the baby that were not aborted. In that case you could develop an infection.
