Question
I wife got pregnant in 1st week of april 2009 and we aborted because she was suffered from chicken pox.
Now once again my wife pregnancy test if postive on 10 th august 2009.shall we go for abortion.
If we go for abortion what will be side effects.

Answer
Dear Saravanan,
There are no issues in having a second abortion, or in her continuing the pregnancy.  You can feel free to make the decision that is best for your relationship.  The safest early abortion methods are the manual aspiration procedure, or the abortion pill.  These are both non surgical methods that do not interfere with the uterine lining so you can be assured that she will be able to get pregnant when you are both ready. A surgical abortion is also very safe, and you should not be concerned to have this done.
I hope this is helpful,
Doctor Joan
