Question
Good day Doctor,i really gratefully for your answering my  previous question . Doctor, please i have another question. Each time i wash my vagina with my finger while taking my bath, i always notice a rough edge on the surface of my cervix and an opening in my cervix(a hole),coupled with some thick blood. Doctor, please i want to know if its normal to notice such after an abortion of 4months. Please,am really scared.Hope i won't have problems or complications during child birth( cervical incompetence) Thank you Doctor.

Answer
Hi Precious,
There is a whole in the cervix of every woman. After an abortion this is often closed with coagulated blood.
Nothing wrong with that. A problem is your control, better don't. You can easily create an infection with this type of investigation.
After some months the little whole in your cervix will be closed. This will not give difficulties in future procreation.
And most certainly no incompetence.
take care !
bye bye for now.
