hello dr. im 18 n had an medical abortion procedure from 11th dec,i bleeded normally for 5 days.i had cramps for first 2 days,then had after my bleedin stopped.its bein 22 days n stil dere is some whitish discharge n i stil hav pain in my lower abdomen,sometimes back pain n headache is also dere.i eat my normal food.my bowel is fyn,b4 abortion i used to hav constipation,now its not dere,i was in my 5th week wen i had abortion.i hav frequent burps which i never had before.i wd like to kno if my abortion was successful as i cudn go for a scan or test due to som personal problem.plz help me as soon as possible.i can provide u more information as per requirement if u want.waitin 4 ujr rply

Hi Missi,
No worry.
After a medical abortion by pills anything can happen.
Whitish discharge is no proof that something went wrong.
Pregnancy hormones disappear slowly from the blood.
I bet your abortion was succesfull.
Protect yourself  and take care.
A home pregtest isn't that expensive, so if you want to be 100%
sure take one in one weeks time.
If in the meantime you have your period there is no need for that.
