i had an abortion on the 29th of December and bled straight away it lasted for 2 weeks but im wondering when i can expect my period to return.

Hi Sam,
easy question, difficult answer.
After an abortion it is almost impossible to tell when the next period will come.
It depends on the pregnancy hormones leaving the blood after te abortion.
So it is unpredictable when your ext period will come. When you start with the contraception pill though, you will be regular earlier.
So have patience, thats all I can add....
