Iam 25yrs old,pregnant 5w and 2d now.5 days ago i had spotting of dark blood that tended to decrease then returns again and i had abdominal cramps that sometimes refer to my right leg .I take progesterone supplements and diocid c tab.I did serum beta-hcg at day 28 lmp and it was 111,again did it 8 days later and it was 2544.When doing tvs a gestational sac of 5.5mm is seen within endometrium without yolk sac.my question is about your opoinion of my case,is my hcg levels normal,what about bleeding and when it should be stopped,is there any treatment could improve my chances to complete my pregnancy????

Hi dr-Shery,
if you are a MD you know that nature expels many abnormal pregnancies in an early stage.
Some light spotting might occur anyway in the first trimester without fatal outcome.
If threatened by a spontaneous early abortion it is IMHO not a good idea to try to preserve the pregnancy.
I do not know in what units HCG levels in your country are given, but the doubling is a good sign.
Too high levels in an early stage are not a good sign.
The absence of the yolk sac is strange. I never saw that.
The answer to your last question depends on your wish to have a perfect baby.
Completing your pregnancy with several different medical measures does not guarantee a healthy baby.
You are free to do what you like best.
My knowledge in this event is less important than my feelings.
I would not try to preserve this pregnancy, unless it was difficult to get pregnant.
