I had an abortion 7 weeks ago I was 12 weeks ad 2 days along. But the week right after the abotion me an my partner had un protected sex. And we decided to get pregnant so we've had sex every week sence I've had to period I'm on the second one right now. But can I still be pregnant just my hormones are confused?
Hi Savanaah,
I think the doc who performed the abortion told you not to put anything in your vagina the first three weeks after the intervention. The uterus is still open and you might attract an infection very easily. Periods and bleeding patterns after an abortion are unreliable and irregular, as hormone levels are not back to normal so fast.
Why the hurry ?
Just take your time and have patience.
