i had d&C 4 weeks back i dont get heavy bleeding just spotting after processor and today it around 4 weeks after d&c i had bad cramps like periods snd very minor spotting i took 2 pregnancy test both came neagtive can any one explain i had unprotected sex also many times 2 weeks after d&C can anyone help ?

It is common not to get much bleeding after D&C. And it is common not to get more bleeding for several weeks afterwards.

You should be able to get a result from a pregnancy test 3 to 4 weeks after the date you were fertile. It may be too early to get results. Test again in a week.

Why are you having unprotected sex? Do you want to have another abortion? If not, then please think about what you are doing. If you are not married, it is unwise to have sex at all, especially living in Singapore, because the people are not as accepting of unwed motherhood as they are in some other parts of the world. Abortion is dangerous. D&C can cause birth defects in your future children. If you want more information on this, and what can be done about it, please ask.

If you are married, learning fertility awareness will help. To use it to avoid pregnancy, you have to chart faithfully and you can't be using any hormones such as contraceptives. You can learn more here:

The other problem I'm concerned about with having sex right after an abortion, is because it can lead to infection. Even if they gave you antibiotics, there are other things, such as viruses and fungus, that can cause infection. If your partner has ever slept with anyone else, you are at risk. You are also at risk from the abortion itself, because abortionists often don't sterilize their instruments properly, so you can get a sexually transmitted disease from a previous client. So you should be tested to see if you have any infections. Some infections can cause sterility, so you will not be able to have a child.

Test again in a week, and then in another week, and let me know what you find out. If you discover you have gotten pregnant again, there is an organization in Singapore that can help you. Also, they can recommend a good doctor, and they can provide counseling. Whatever you do, don't go back to the person who did the abortion. He or she cannot be trusted. Abortion is bad medicine.
