Hi... I had a D&C done on july 24 and didn't get my period till september 9. I had unprotected sex on september 22nd and I took 3 pregnancy tests but they were all negative. Then I got my period on october 18. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant? On another note I want to get an IUD. Does that interfere with the fact that I had an abortion done?
Hi Siomi,
Question one: if you had no unprotected sex after september 22nd, and the test is negative now, you are not pregnant.
Question two: An IUD is a splendid idea. Especially the hormone IUD which reduces the bloodloss at the time of the periods considerably. No risks involved.
