Question
Hello,
If I got an abortion at 10 weeks, what are the chances of a surgical abortion failing!? And when I went in for my check up at 2 weeks and they examined me would the Dr. know if the procedure failed? How without an ultrasound do they determine if the pregnancy was successfully terminated?

Answer
The chances are very low.  You can perform a Urine pregnancy test now if it has been 6 weeks and the test should be faint positive or negative.  Also, you should be able to tell if you have no pregnancy symptoms.  The most common are nausea, breast tenderness, or movement.
