hi me and my husband had a abortion at 22 weeks due to some medical reasons. i bleed for about 2 weeks. it has been a month since the abortion and i have not had a period. me my husband have had unprotected sex. when should i expect my period?
Hi Brandi,
periods and bleedingpatterns after an abortion - for whatever reason -are unpredictable and irregular for a prolonged time - even months.
So you cannot reckon on anything. There are no safe days either.
Never have unprotected sex if you do not want a baby. I can imagine that you both
want to try again, but the uterus needs some time to heal and relax.
Better wait till after you normal period comes back.
