QUESTION: "Hi,
Last monday i had D&E. the US at 9th week showed there was no developkemt after 7th week evntually i had to go for abortion :(. I am feeling quite weak. I hope i get pregnant again soon. I have few queries can u help me.
when is it safe to do sex after DnE. Right now im having bleeing after DnE. The flow is like at time more n at times less.
when does this bleeding stops?
When is the best time to plan and do sex after bleeding is stopped. Like after periods it is said days 11 to 21 time for evolution n good time to do sex to conceive.
Also need some guidance on precautiions after miscarriage.

ANSWER: Hi dear Aira,
bleedingpatterns and periods after an abortion are unpredictable and irregular for some time.
Can be even 3-4 month. No bathing, nothing in your vagina and no sex the first 3 weeks.
Wait for a normal period after wihich yo can try again. The uterus needs some time to relax and heal.
Take care with your body. No sex without precautions if you do not want a baby.

its been 8 days. i did not bleed at all today. my hubby wants to have sex and its getting difficult for him to control. Even i feel the same and we want to have the baby again. You advised me to not to have sex atleast3 weeks than its just 1 week. Should i wait for second week to complete n have sex after that? or what incase i do not bleed and wait for a day or 2 and then have sex?
Please advise.

I need not tell you that there are many ways to have sex without penetration.
Yes definitively wait three weeks before trying to conceive.
But its up to you to decide. Its your life, but take care....you only got one.
