Question
QUESTION: I did a d*c for 7wks, had an unprotected sex on the 22 day for which I took postnoir 2 however I have been on antibotics and this is the 30th day after the abortion. Am I likely to be pregrant

ANSWER: Hi Getty,
Why unprotected sex if you do not want a baby ?
You can be come pregnant already 10 days after the abortion.
Periods and bleeding after an abortion are unpredictable.
So: No unprotected sex at all !! Let this man use condoms .
Bye bye, take better care,  and good luck for now.

QUESTION: Thanks for the reply but I was told antibotics reduces the effectiveness of postnoir 2. Thanks for the advice well taken too. Do you suggest anything I could do as a follow up to ensure am not pregrant now thanks and bye.

Answer
Hi Getty again,

Just watch yourself...if you are extra tired or get painfull or tense breast this can be a sign of pregnancy too.
My mantra is: "no unprotected sex if you do not want a baby"
After an abortion there are NO SAFE days.
Bless you,
Dr Shan
