Hi,

My LMT was on 26th Dec 09, and on 25th jan 10 I had positive pregnancy test. I did sonography on 27th jan as per report, I had 4 weeks 2 days Eaarly Intra uterine gestation sac and Mean sac diameter is 6 mm.
I went for medical abortion doctor gave me two pills of mifepristone on 29th Jan, there was on bleeding for two days and then on 31st jan, very light bleeding and clots were passed on that day. On 31st evening at 8 PM i placed 4 pills of misoprostal in my vagina as instructed by the doctor. That time there was light bleeding, but after putting those pills there was no bleeding at all.
On 1st Feb morning I passed Clot as big as cookie.. and placed two more misoprostal as instructed by doctor and its been 6 hours now and there is no bleeding at all.
I am really worried if pregancy is terminated or not?
Whether pregnancy is still there? how can i confirm of complete abortion? I Am really afraid of surgical abortion.
Moreover I did not even had any abdominal pain or cramp.
My menstrual cycles prior to pregnancy were regular and i use to have periods for 3 days... please guide me on , if light bleeding is considered as no termination of pregnancy...

I don't advise for medical abortion or any kind of abortion. I hope you are ok because I am concerned about you. We have reports of excessive and extensive bleeding after medical abortions so I am hoping that all is well with your health. Please don't use these medications again as there are possible dangerous side effects. If you have any post abortion problems, such as mental, psychological or spiritual, please contact me.
