Question
I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend on 10th jan which was the 6th day of her menstrual cycle. after a month and till date she did'nt had her periods. she also did a Pregnancy test (early this month) in which she found that there were two lines out of which second line was not clear (it was blurred). so she regularly started eating Papaya which would help her terminate any possible pregnancy.
Now during this period she was suffering from piles and had some blood passage due   
to it. she is currently on piles medication and now condition is OK.
However recently she tested again for pregnancy with PT strip which showed negative (not pregnant). but   
we are not sure since she has not got her periods till now and also PT strip results are not very reliable.
So we decided to go for medical abortion using mifepreston and misoprostal. on 27th Feb she took mifepreston (1 tablet 200mg). after consumption she got pain in her stomach (after almost 6 hrs) which continued  for next 4 hrs. however it became less severe eventually and she was getting a white discharge from her vagina continuously. there were no other effects.
Now she has to take misoprostal (2 tablets 2oo mg each, after 24 hrs of mifepreston and again 2 tablets after 1st dose of misprostal) twice as per our understanding.
Please advice if we are following the correct procedure. What would be side effects of misoprostal if she is not preganant (and even if she's pregnant). should she take all the dose as mentioned above. Iam worried since we cannot visit a doctor as we have to keep it confidential.

I am not a doctor but I don't advise these medications at all. We have been getting reports of complications and symptoms from medical abortions. Not having a doctor's supervision could be very dangerous to her health. In my opinion, it's not worth the health risk. Watch for bleeding either excessive to extended bleeding. If she does not seem doing well, please consult a doctor. What would happen if she has life-threatening symptoms? Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and update me. I would advise not to take any more of these medications.
