Last night i had anal sex with a guy and he pulled out and came on my lower back. He didnt finger me or put anything in my vagina. Is there anyway that seaman could of leaked into my vagina and i could get pregnant again? I just took 7 birth control pills becuase i am freaking out. Thank you!

Answer
Hello, Jamie,

Your question was in the question pool rather than addressed specifically to me, and I just saw it.

First of all, please do not have anal sex. It is very bad for your body. It can lead to damage to your bowels, bowel incontinence, or a nasty, even deadly, infection. It is NOT safe. Please take better care of yourself.

There is a slight possibility of pregnancy from the circumstances you describe, but it is remote. If any semen got onto the area where the opening to your vagina is, pregnancy is a possibility. However, that soon after an abortion, you are unlikely to be fertile, and without an egg waiting to be fertilized, pregnancy would also be impossible.

Unless you want to have another abortion, you should stop the risky behavior. Seriously. Don't rely on condoms, either. They often don't work. Make sure you aren't in a private place with a man, where sex can happen. Look for someone decent to spend time with. No decent man would do things like that to you.

Feel free to ask more questions. Stay safe!

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
