Hello,
my question is can my abortion had failed? I had gotten my period aug 12th and had became officially pregnant aug 28,2009. I made a really bad choice and terminated the baby on Oct 3,2009. After the abortion I didnt have too much bleeding infact it only lasted for two days and stopped than reoccured but light. On nov15 i had gotten a light spotty period since i was 12years old my period has always been regular and now the bleeding is irregular and bleeds on and off. I still think im pregnant because i am still expiercing lightheadedness, headaches, back aches, my stomach is getting harder my bellys growing and sometimes i even feel soft pokes weight gain and frequent peeing. the only reason why i dont know is because i had an abortion but it was many months ago and i still feel the same. I would greatly appereciate if you share with me what you think, have a wonderful evening =] .

p.s I know that it takes a while for pregnancy symptoms to go away but i had the abortion many months ago and still feel the same.

It does sound like you are still pregnant, especially because you are feeling movement. You should get yourself checked out. You shouldn't be feeling and experiencing these things if the abortion worked.

You didn't say what kind of abortion you had. If you had a surgical abortion, there is a good chance they missed the baby. If you had a pill abortion, and all you got was light bleeding, it probably didn't do anything. At that point, it might have been too late in your pregnancy.

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling the way you do about your choice, and I find it fully understandable. It would be perfectly normal to have regrets, and hopefully, you are still blessed with a healthy baby, and everything will be all right. You need immediate medical care, to safeguard both of you.
