Abortion/Abortion (Successful or not)

Question
Last week I found out that I was 3 - 3.5 weeks pregnant. My husband and I decided to terminate the pregnancy.  On the 27th i was given the pill cytotec to take ,at 8.15 pm i took 3 pills orally and 3 hours after i took 2 pills vaginally.  I had minor cramping.  Between midnight and 5.30 am I had some heavy bleeding and I passed 2 clots about the size of a big marble.  After that i had light bleeding for 3 days, then on Wednesday the bleeding became a bit heavier like the first 2 days of a period.  I just want to know if you think that the abortion was successful or not and if that type of bleeding is normal.  Thanking you in advance for your answer.

Answer
Hi Crystal,
yes, I think this is the normal procedure and all went well.
Bleeding can continue at irregular times and periods are irregular also,
sometimes for a couple of months.
You may do a pregtest, but not before march 20st to be 100% sure.
In the meantime do not have unprotected sex.
Take care 1
