Question
I had an abortion during the first week of febuary 2010, right after the surgery, i got my period, which they told me was normal. It is now march 25 2010, and my bleeding hasnt stopped. It starts up and will stop for half a day and then start up again, im just wondering if this is normal, because im very concerned that something might be wrong. If it is normal, how long will it take to stop? And if it isnt normal, what should i do

Dear Claire,

In my opinion, this is not normal and could be dangerous. Please call your doctor or clinic so they can check you out. Please don't wait too long or you could develop anemia. Extensive or excessive bleeding is of concern. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know what happens.

Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
