Question"Docter, me and my husband had palnned to have baby from last dec 2009. I had concieved because i felt all the symptoms and i didnt get my menses too. by mistake i happened to eat eggs which were not done perfect;y and the very next day i started bleeding.
we tried again the next month and i guess i concieved coz i had the symptoms and then i ate chicken liver since then my symptoms reduced. i was so scared that i lost my baby. and i felt i wasnt pregnant . but i didnt get my menses either. but i was so frustrated . i browed the net and saw if eating liver was dangerous or not, and i happened to see so many things that it can lead to birth defects and miscarriage and everything. i didnt want to miscarry later on so i ate eggs so that i can try next month and be careful of what am eating . i got my menses agian.
We tried next month.. but only a very few days. i got my symptoms. but they only leg pain mostly.. i didnt get a headache or anything else. at my 9 dpo all my symptoms were gone and now i experience nothing. i did a homee pregnancy test but it came negative. i still didnt get my menses.i was supposed to get my periods on 10th of march. also i ate egg this time but still i didnt get my menses. is anything wrong with me. we want to try again and do no mistakes this time, but am waiting for my menses. what would be the reason. what should i do. we are so frustrated. . my husband is so mentally depressed. please help.
AnswerHi Jane,
miscarriages happen much more than normally is understood.
Its a self cleaning mechanism. Over 90 % embryo's that are not perfect are
removed within 3 to 5 weeks. Thank God.
I feel the only thing thats wrong with you is that you are too eager.
Life in fact is easy. Have sex between day 9 and 15 after the first day of
your period and relax. All the stress about getting pregnant works the other way
arround. This has NOTHING to do with what you eat or drink as long as this is
not alcohol or drugs. Enjoy eating your eggs and chicken.
Just do not be preoccupied with the pregnancy idea. That helps !
Bests,
Dr Shan.
