Question
Hi. I am 23 years old women. I was 8 weeks old pregnant and aborted my first baby through medication. After 5 days of abortion, its still bleeding (normal) and I got a scan, where the result is doubtfull. Either Bleed or Incomplete abortion. what does this mean. Is my abortion incomplete? DO i have to wait for some more time or do I have to go for another dosage of medicines?

Hi Mrs Dhanya,
5 days after an abortion thee is nothing you can see clearly on the scan.
Only if the fetus is stil in there, possibly that can be seen.
The bleeding is a sign that the abortion is ready in over 95%..
Just in case of doubt, have a pregtest done in three weeks time and do not have
unprotected intercourse in between.
If the test is positive in three weeks time, you are still pregnant, but thst chance is
very little.
So, best seems to just do nothing  and wait patiently.
