Answer
Hello, Ila,

It isn't normal to take those dangerous pills to begin with, so nothing that happens afterward is normal, either. Unfortunately, you are at risk even now, of bleeding to death. This is one of the things these pills do to women. You really should talk to a doctor of some kind. It doesn't have to be a gynecologist. In the meantime, try to eat some spicy food that has red hot peppers in it, on a regular basis, to help control the bleeding.

Did you take any pills in your vagina? If so, you need to ask the doctor to test you for Clostridium sordellii. It may be you are no longer at risk, but it wouldn't hurt to check, because it can kill you. These pills can set off an infection so serious that it kills within hours.

By taking the pills, you also greatly increased the possibility you will get breast cancer in the future, so you need to be checked periodically. See if you can find someone who will give you a thermogram. Mammograms can spread cancer. I realize it's possible you live in rural northern India or someplace like that, and finding a decent doctor may be difficult. But these pills are so dangerous that they should never be taken without medical supervision to begin with. And a pregnant woman should never take misoprost at all. It can also cause a woman's uterus to rupture.

There is really nothing further I can do from here, halfway around the world, so you really do need to find a way to see a doctor. Please take care of yourself, and let me know how you do.

Expertise

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
