Answer
Hello, anna,

Abnormal bleeding, such as you have, is never fine. Whether or not your abortion had anything to do with this, I can't say. What kind of abortion did you have? I will probably be able to tell you more if you can answer that question. Also, did you do any unusual physical activity in the last month? Did you have intercourse in the past two months?

I can think of several possible causes. Please notice that I am not saying any of these are true. These are just possibilities to consider.

1. you had an abortion, and this is what is causing it
2. you got pregnant and implantation took place on the 21st. That might explain the first instance.
3. you got pregnant and you are going to have a miscarriage. That might explain the bleeding since that time.
4. you have cancer, fibroids, or some other kind of abnormality in your uterus
5. you got pregnant, and although you are bleeding, everything is medically fine and the pregnancy will proceed

I don't know which of these things might be the reason, so I do need more information. I still won't be able to give you a definite answer over the internet, and neither will anyone else. The only person who is going to be able to give you a definite answer is a doctor who can examine you and run tests.

Please let me know the answers to my questions, and I'll see if I get any additional ideas. Take care.

Expertise

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
