I had an abortion at 6 weeks in march, using the mifepristone. Once I visited for my check up I began on the depo shot. I've always had irregular and light periods, but I haven't had a period since my abortion. I have had sex, and so I have taken four hpts and went to my health dept all tests being negative. So I guess I'm just wondering if there is a chance I could be pregnant again or if its a combination of the abortion, birth control, and stress?

Sometimes there is that long a delay in resuming periods after an abortion. Did you consult your doctor about this problem? If you have had pregnancy tests that are negative, then that shouldn't be the problem. It could be the combination, of course. Please let me know what happens. I just thought of something, perhaps the depo has altered your period. I don't usually recommend any kind of hormonal birth control because of the risks and side effects. If you want more information on this, please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com
