Question
On May 14th I had a negative pregnancy test. On June 3rd it was positive. My last menstral period was April 5th. My periods are some what irregular and my cycles last over 30 days. In the early morning (4:45 a.m.) of June 5th I inserted 4 cycotec into the vagina as reccomended by my poharmacist.I wet them before I put them in. By 6:30 I was bleeding, in pain all, day, I changed 3 pads that day. The next day the bleeding was less, like there was alomost non. Today there is some lite bleeding. The instructions on the cycotec said to repeat 2 days later if necessary. Should I repeat? There were clots on the first day and non on day 2

I had unprotected sex yesterday. Sounds crazy but I did.

Answer
Hi SS (not a nice name !)

The pregnancy you treated with Cytotec was terminated obviously.
So no problem with that. No need to repeat.
Already 10 days after the abortion you are fertile again, may become pregnant.
So cross your fingers and do not have unprotected sex unless you want a baby.
Perform a pregtest july 1st. Not before as after an abortion the test may stay ++
for three weeks.
Bye for now,
Dr Shan
