Question
Hi,

I would like to ask about medical abortion. I took 400mcg orally, and 400mcg intra-vaginal. I feel cramps for about 20-45 minutes after I take in the pills. Should I expect bleeding within an hour or sometimes it takes more time? For now, I dont feel any cramps, no bleeding either. does the pills took effect or not?  (additional info: I had a successful CS child birth last 6 years)

Answer
Hello, Anna,

Taking these pills intra-vaginally is VERY DANGEROUS! You need to go immediately and be tested to see if you have Clostridium sordellii in your body. If you do, they need to start aggressive treatment to save your life NOW. In this situation, what is normally not a serious problem can turn into toxic shock syndrome. I don't know of ANY woman who has developed symptoms whom they have been able to save. It only takes a few hours to kill a woman. Obviously, not every woman has Clostridium sordellii in her body, but that doesn't matter if toxic shock syndrome happens to you.

I can't tell you how long it will take for you to experience significant symptoms.  Also, you didn't tell me how far along you are, and that's very important.

There are other dangers as well. You can bleed to death. You should be taking Cayenne or eating food with red hot peppers in it on a regular basis. These pills destroy the hormone that controls a woman's bleeding, and bleeding to death is a real possibility.

There is the possibility that your uterus could contract so hard it could rupture. I don't know of a remedy for that.

Please let me know how far along you are, and then get to the doctor or emergency room immediately and get that test! Please let me know how you do.

Expertise

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
