Answer
Hello, Siomara,

There is no such thing as a safe abortion. An abortion can kill you. It can also cause you to become disabled. If one of these things happens, who would take care of your 2 year old? The media and leaders in the abortion movement say it's safe, but they are LYING. They make money off abortion, especially the leaders.

If you go to an abortionist, they will not tell you what the dangers are. If they did, most women would never get an abortion, and they would lose a sale. They're in the business to make money. Very few really believe they are helping women, especially after they have been doing it for any length of time. They tend to be careless. Most abortion facilities wouldn't pass basic health inspections. They really should be shut down. All that legalizing abortion did was make women more vulnerable because so many women believe legal abortion is safe, and because abortionists are MORE careless now that they are not afraid of being caught.

Let me be more specific. A pill abortion can cause a woman to bleed to death, or to develop Toxic Shock Syndrome. Toxic Shock Syndrome kills a woman within hours. Once symptoms develop, there is no known way to save her life. It can also cause a woman's uterus to rupture. It's not even ethical to provide the second medication usually used (because the manufacturer says that it should never be given to a pregnant woman).

A surgical abortion can cause a woman to bleed to death, develop an infection, become paralyzed or unable to speak; it can damage a woman's uterus or other internal organs.

Both kinds of abortion can cause severe emotional repercussions. An abortion causes a woman to become seven times more likely to commit suicide within a year. Other ways a woman can die in the year following abortion include homicide and accident. It can cause a woman to abuse alcohol or drugs, develop anorexia or bulimia, or sleep disturbances. It can cause some women to start to abuse themselves, such as engaging in cutting. It can cause a woman to have difficulty with motherhood, and can make her child feel insecure. The child doesn't need to know the mother had an abortion to pick up on a change in her mother's state of mind.

Any kind of complication from abortion will cost you money you weren't planning on spending, sometimes a LOT of money.

You are carrying your daughter's sibling, and she has a right to know her sibling.

There are definitely better answers. There are organizations all over the United States that will help a woman in your position. They offer counseling, medical care, help with financial issues, clothing, supplies and furniture for a baby, and help with adoption. You deserve to know what all your options are before you make such a tragic mistake. To find an organization near you, go to this web site:

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
