Answer
Hello, xie,

You had a positive pregnancy test only a few days after you had a period? That doesn't quite add up. While some women do bleed during pregnancy, it seems unlikely they would consider it a normal period.

Why are you even considering abortion? Abortions are dangerous and can kill you. Pill abortions cause women to bleed to death. They can also cause a woman's uterus to rupture, and can cause her to die of a nasty infection. The condition is called Toxic Shock Syndrome and it is caused by Clostridium sordellii. It only takes hours to die that way. In addition, a pill abortion increases a woman's risk of getting breast cancer. Not only that, but abortion can cause grave emotional harm. Some women even commit suicide afterward.

One of the medications commonly given is made by a company that says a pregnant woman should NEVER take it. Never. Anybody who would supply it to you is committing malpractice.

It's not worth the risk. You have two children to take care of. Not only that, but it could cause THEM harm if you have an abortion. They will sense something is wrong. They may become anxious and insecure. And your ability to be a good mother could be harmed.

Since your problem is you can't afford another child this soon (at least not at the moment), I recommend you seek help from an organization near you. Help with financial issues is one of the things they do. Here is a web site where you can find an organization near you:

Think also about this: if you have a complication, which is likely, can you afford the medical care to save your life?

By the time you are ready to give birth, you may be able to afford that. You may be able to find a midwife, for example, which would also not be as expensive.

If you are not convinced that you shouldn't risk your life this way, read some of my other answers, where I am talking to women who did take these pills. It wouldn't surprise me if some of these women bled to death. I never heard back from some of them.

Surgical abortions can also kill a woman, and it can kill or seriously harm her future children.
You are asking me to practice medicine without a license. I could get into a lot of trouble for doing that. You are also asking me to help you hurt yourself and possibly to leave your two children as orphans. I won't do that, either. In addition, you are asking me to help you break the law. I also won't do that. Abortion is illegal in the Philippines. It is one of the few countries in the world that cares enough about women to protect them from abortion.

If you want someone to lie to you and tell you abortion is safe, and then how to do this to yourself, it's out of my hands. But PLEASE don't do this! Please get some REAL help. You deserve better. Take care of yourself and stay safe. And let me know how things go.

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
