Hello,
I had a surgical abortion 4 weeks ago exactly and as I was told to start the pill the Sunday after the procedure, I am now in the week waiting to get my first period after the procedure.  I know that it is common to get your period late after an abortion, but I'm wondering if it is still common to get it late if you have been taking birth control pills. Do I start the next pack on Sunday even if I haven't recieved my first period since the procedure?  I have been extremely careful to take the pill exactly at the same time but I have had intercourse a couple times with my boyfriend, no condom used.  I'm very much worried that I'm pregnant again, SO SOON, and would love some insight on what I can expect with my period. How long?

periods, and bleeding patterns after an abortion are irregular and unpredictable.
So is your fertility in same timespan. When using the contraceptive pill periods are regular quicker, so continue the pill in the way did before. Yes, start again next sunday.It is ot so extremely careful to have sex these days without a condom.
if you are worried have a pregtest done.
And no unprotected sex when you do not want a baby for another month.
