Answer
Hello, lili,

Please know that I am not a doctor. I am a person who has done a lot of research and talked to a lot of women.

Having an abortion isn't normal to begin with. However, bleeding two weeks after a pill abortion is very common. In fact, many women bleed to the point where it becomes dangerous. The pills stop the hormone that controls a woman's bleeding. You need to watch the bleeding very carefully. You should eat spicy food that has cayenne, red hot peppers, in it. Or you can take a supplement called Cayenne. Having a positive pregnancy test for awhile is also very common. If the bleeding becomes heavy, please see a doctor immediately.

I don't have any idea how long it will take for your body to return to some kind of normal, and neither does anyone else. You can ask a doctor, or test once a week for pregnancy, and you will know more than you do now. But it simply isn't possible to predict how any woman's body will react, because abortion is so disruptive.

I hope you will be all right. Please let me know how you do, and take care.

My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
