Abortion/Abortion pill

Question
QUESTION: Hi, I'm from Russia but now live in NYC. Being 5 weeks pregnant I went to the doctor for abortion pill. She gave me one pill of mifeprex which I took right away and gave 4 more pills to take 48 hours later at home. After I took those four pills Cramping started and just a little bit of bleeding. Already 9 hours later I still have the same symptoms, cramping and a little bleeding. Nothing came out.
Then I read in the Internet that I should have taken 3 pills of mifeprex. So I guess one pill just didn't work. I called my doctor and she said that they gave one pill which is 600 mg. But I also didn't find any information saying that there are pills 600 mg each.
So what shall I do now? To have a surgery? And if that doctor didn't give the right amount of pills what can I do about that? And if so, I don't want to come back to the same doctor, but I paid 450$ and I don't have an insurance.
What can you advice me?

ANSWER: One  pill of Mifeprex is all you need.  You may need a second dose of Misoprostol.  Go back to the same doctor for a follow-up visit.

QUESTION: Thank you for the answer
You are saying that one pill is enough but on the site Earlyoptionpill.com there is a description of Mifeprex and it says that you take three pills orally at a time (200mg each, 600mg all together) at the providers office. As I was given only one, I think I didn't have an abortion at all. Now I don't have bleeding, just cramps and fever 98. The doctor said just let's wait one more week. But I'm afraid that it can be only worse.
So the question is how one pill is enough if the description of the mifeprex says three?
And another question how can it be that the pills didn't work?
Thank you

Answer
There are two protocols.  The FDA approved it as one and cannot change it at this point.  The evidence-based protocol is one tablet and is now the standard of care. It is based on sound clinical evidence.  It is the misoprostol that does the work and it is the one that is used to complete the abortion by causing contractions that allow the cervix to dilate and the uterine contractions to expel the pregnancy
