Hi...I had a surgical abortion 2 days ago and since last night I been experience some type of bloating...I started to feel like my stomach was so full but the feeling went away for a while after a gas was release...I tried to go to the bathroom for a bowel movement but nothing but pain on my pelvis, I went to sleep and the cramping woke me up, now I was feeling so much pain in my upper stomach (more around my belly button)...I tried to go to the bathroom again but nothing came out so I tried pushing a lil bit but my pelvis was so much in pain, like period cramping multiplied by 3...finally i got a bowel movement and I feel a lil better but the pain around the belly button and the period like cramping don't want to go away...is this normal? Should I go to the ER?

You should call the ER or call your regular doctor just to see if this is something urgent. I am always concerned with health after an abortion. There are so many things that can go wrong. Please be careful with your health. I would like to know what happened. Can you email me at CHERYL51@aol.com

Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
