Hi,
I had a surgical abortion on Wednesday and I had sex two days after. And it kind of hurt and now I am bleeding a lot and have horrible cramps. I know it was not a smart thing to do. Can I get pregnant soon after having a surgical abortion?

Hi Nice to meet you. I'm sorry to hear your story of your abortion. I wish I could have talked to you before. Also, yes, you should have been given instructions after your abortion to not have sex for 2 weeks or more. Bleeding can be very dangerous so please watch that and get medical advice if this keeps going on. Are you worried about getting pregnant or do you want to get pregnant again?
