AnswerHello, Sheela,
Please know that I am not a doctor. I am a medical researcher.
Deviry is another name for medroxyprogesterone. It may cause bleeding, but it won't mean that you are getting rid of an existing pregnancy. In addition, it has a lot of really nasty possible side effects. Please see the special instructions and side effects:

* It may cause drowsiness or dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
* Avoid exposure to sunlight; otherwise it may cause dark skin patches.
* It may affect blood sugar level; monitor sugar level regularly.

So in my opinion, you are asking for trouble taking it. It can cause you some fairly serious medical problems.
Aside from that, people say it takes a few days before it will produce bleeding, perhaps up to ten days.
It is normal to not want to be pregnant at first. It's caused by hormones. Most women get past that point and are anxious to have their babies.
Why are you afraid of pregnancy, and why don't you want a baby? Are you having problems such that you need help? Are you just scared? Let's talk about it. I can tell you more about it, and if you have more knowledge, it may dispel your fear.
Please don't take dangerous and poisonous drugs. Any pills that are intended to stop pregnancy or end it can cause sickness and even death. Please stay safe.
