Question
Hi,
I had a medical abortion on December 14th (thats when I took the pills)and didn't get my period again until January 24th. It was a normal period for me. I have a 28 day cycle and was suppose to start the 21st, however I haven't yet. I have no symptoms of starting either. There isn't any way that I could be pregnant I don't think. I have had sex, however it was protected and my boyfriend always pulled out. But, I took two pregnancy test just in case and both were negative. Is this still effects of the procedure or is something else going on? Thanks for your help!!
Amanda

Answer
dear Amanda,
yes, after any abortion periods tend to be irregular and unpredictable for some months.

The pull out technique is NOT safe.
Your not pregnant; no worry.
Never have unprotected sex if you do not want a baby. (my mantra !)
